RFIs
Review clarification questions, scope gaps, and allowances before bidding.
Use RFIs to identify information that needs clarification before you commit to a price. The page contains three sections: RFIs, Scope gaps, and Allowances & bid risk.
Finish reading the bid set
Upload the relevant drawings, specifications, and addenda. Analysis waits while files are still being read.
Run the analysis
Choose Run analysis. If you have run it before, Re-run all requests another review. AI generation uses credits.
Review each finding
Check the question or gap against its reference. Review priority, severity, or risk as shown; these labels help you decide what to resolve first.
Edit for the recipient
Use the finding’s edit controls to make the question and explanation clear. Save changes and check for errors. Use the copy control for RFI text when useful.
Refresh or export
Use a section’s regenerate action for a targeted refresh, or re-run all after changing the document set. Download the RFI workbook through Bid package on Estimate or Proposal.

What belongs in each section?
| Section | What to review |
|---|---|
| RFIs | The question, why it needs resolution, discipline, priority, and reference. |
| Scope gaps | Missing or incomplete scope, the description of the gap, severity, and reference. |
| Allowances & bid risk | The uncertain item, reason, division, risk level, and suggested basis for sizing an allowance. |
An allowance recommendation is a prompt for your judgment. Verify its basis and decide how to price or qualify it; do not assume it has changed the estimate.
What do empty and busy states mean?
Not generated yet means you still need to run analysis. A queued or generating section is waiting for its result. A completed section with no findings means that run did not identify findings of that kind. It does not prove the bid set is complete.
Review before sending
Will a re-run preserve my wording?
Generation produces a new result for the section. Keep a copy of edited questions before regenerating. Review the latest output against any answers or addenda received since the previous run.
