BidQuota Docs

Introduction

A practical guide to preparing construction bids with Bid Quota.

Bid Quota helps you read a bid set, check scope, build an estimate, and prepare a proposal. Each project has an AI chat assistant that works from the documents you upload and the cost information you provide.

Start with a real project and a small set of clear documents. Ask a specific question, check the cited evidence, then decide what belongs in your estimate.

Your review matters

Bid Quota reads printed text, schedules, dimensions, and drawing notes. It does not measure drawing geometry or perform an automatic quantity takeoff. Check quantities, prices, and scope before submitting a bid.

How the pieces fit

A workspace holds projects, agents, and a plan. Your personal workspace is for your own work; an organization is for working with a team. A project holds its own documents, conversations, estimate, RFIs, and proposal.

Within a project, use Chat, Uploads, Estimate, RFIs, and Proposal in the sidebar. You can return to any page as the bid develops. Export reviewed deliverables from the estimate or proposal page.

Before you begin

Have your drawings, specifications, addenda, and any Excel or CSV pricing sheets ready. For shared work, accept the organization's invitation before creating the project so it belongs to the right workspace.
